I first met Dave only last year at Supermac’s talk at the Irish Centre in Newcastle. He was one of the first to go out of his way to introduce himself as i had just started my clothing brand and he wanted to tell me how happy he was for me and how much support he wants to give. Me and my dad spoke about him after to say how kind amazing and lovely he was. People like Dave don’t come along often and when they do, you remember them. Ever since then Dave has been so supportive and kind, we messaged on social media and he was like a grandad full of love and advice for me. He really was one of a kind and i am so grateful to have known him.
