I was asked who David Harrison was today by people who had never had the privilege. I first met Dave in 2013, after his mad year of being head man in AGB during the 2012 Olympics. He presented me with an award at the annual club awards dinner. Next time was at my 1st British indoors. He had only met me once out of thousands over 12 months but could place the face. That 2nd meeting made a lasting impression. This was a man who cared. Every meeting after that was full of chat and good banter. He was my go to man for rules in the sport. He was also a Twitter friend and I was aware of all the other interests he had outside Archery. How he found the time I have no idea ! The long and tall of it is that Mr H was a top bloke that many of us had a great deal of time for. Our last conversation at the indoors was called short due to a team photo duty. I wish I had skipped the photo and had more valuable chat ! #MRH
